Diazepam and Anxiety


Diazepam is a benzodiazepine use to treat anxiety or alcohol withdrawal. certain muscle spasms or convulsive disorders.

How it works is it slows down certain chemicals in the central nervous system and just generally slows the whole body down. A normal dose is anywhere from 20 to 40 milligrams a day taken either once up to four times a day if you happen to forget and miss your dose, if it’s closer to the next does just skip it. If not go ahead and take it. but you don’t double up and take 2 doses at the same time. You can take your diazepam with or without food doesn’t matter. Some of the side effects are sedation, dizziness, drowsiness and some confusion. this also has a schedule four, which means there is some abuse and dependency issues. you do not want to drink alcohol while taking diazepam.
